It was one of the most random days of Commission Junction’s ten years in business.
We were asked to take part in the BBC show ‘Election’ in which a group of ten children battle it out over a series of challenges designed to show the best leader. The eventual winner receives a one to one with the Prime Minister.

On the agreed day, at the agreed time (agreed by who…nobody knows), a group of children came to the ValueClick offices tasked with teaching us two dances – the Hula and the Haka. This, in itself, was weird enough. The fact that the two teams then had to do a ‘dance off’ in front of Jonathan Dimbleby tipped the experience to verging on the surreal.

So, for this week’s moment of zen, here is some of the Commission Junction team performing the worst Haka in the history of the world. Needless to say our New Zealand General Manager was appalled, and Tom Leadbetter (also a Kiwi) has brought a great shame upon his nation.

Here it is: Haka
For those of you who truly want to punish their eyes this is the whole, painful ‘dance off’: Hula and Haka
And for those of you with too much time on your hands this is the entire section of the programme featuring Commission Junction: Are you sure?
(I don’t want to ruin it for you but the Hula wins by unanimous vote)
