Introducing Melanie and Andrew
Filed under: Uncategorized;3 CommentsAs promised, I have some more new people to introduce after the charming Marta Casero a few weeks ago. Some more to come as well….
First up is Melanie Scheibner who has joined us as an Account Representative in Dipa’s team. We have stolen Melanie from our PriceRunner friends on the third floor. Secondly is Andrew Stephens who has joined as an Account Manager looking after the ValueClick/CJ short term campaigns.
So, let’s find out a little bit more about Melanie. Here she is….
At PriceRunner, Melanie focussed on Social Marketing, promoting the PriceRunner forum and trying to get new members. She is looking forward to working within a different area of marketing and through affiliate marketing understanding all of the online marketing channels. She says ‘I am excited about learning lots of new skills, getting to know the structure of affiliate marketing and learning all the tricks of the trade’.
On a more personal note, Melanie is from Germany. Despite this apparently she does not eat sausages all of the time or drink loads of beer (although she does enjoy both in moderation). She usually spends her free time going to the cinema, chatting with friends and sightseeing. In terms of hobbies she ‘would love to say I like sports but I absolutely hate any kind of sports, especially working out in the gym’. Thank goodness she only enjoys the sausages and beer in moderation.
Melanie’s favourite sandwhich is smoked salmon and cream cheese with vinegar crisps (classy, until we got to the crisps).
Now, moving on to Andrew. This is the photo that he provided, I am not sure who the armpit above his left ear belongs to.
Andrew (Andy) comes to us with a plethora of affiliate marketing experience having joined us from DGM. He has the great honour of being directly managed by Jason Baker whom Andy describes as ‘gentle, soft, generous, quiet and brilliant’ Nice.
Andy has enjoyed his first few weeks and is ‘most definately enjoying the lively office atmosphere’. He is looking forward to having a more hands on role with advertisers, agencies and publishers; and states the following as why he finds affiliate marketing interesting ‘the new and interesting ways people think of to generate revenue, either through innovative technology or through site targeting.
He is quite a bit more sporty than Melanie and lists snowboarding, sailing, windsurfing and football as hobbies.
Oh and his favourite sandwich is ‘probably chickem, although I do like the BMT at Subway’
Welcome Andrew and Melanie.
Signing off, the CJ Blog.

Welcome Andrew and Melanie!
You are an international bunch at CJ London! How many different nationalities have you got altogether? -
Thanks Rob. Er last count was 23 (which also consisted of people who are ‘half’ from a country – eg, I am half Australian which is cheating a bit I know). But yes, we like to have a nice mix
