Last week saw the A4U host its annual Performance Marketing Awards at Grosvenor House Hotel, London. The CJ team that went filled our own table, and we were joined by the other ValueClick brands who were there on masse. Over 800 guests descended upon the ceremony at Grovsner House and Commission Junction sponsored the night’s Best 3rd Party Application category. Those who lucky enough to get a ticket would have been able to see Commission Junction pick up the award on the night for Best Use of Mobile in conjunction with Argos. A massive congratulations go to the team on winning such a competitive category; we’re all so proud in the office!
CJ also picked up a number of highly commended mentions including, Best In Casino & Gaming Advertiser with Paddy Power and Best In Travel & Leisure Advertiser with TUI.
As for our fellow ValueClickers; Mediaplex had a great nomination in the Best Consumer Targeting category for working with Doctors Without Borders, but unluckily missed out on the award. ValueClick media meanwhile were also shortlisted for their lead generation work with Canderel. Well done to our fellow teams for that great recognition.
After all the formalities of the night came the festivities. The Grosvenor put on great spread that was accompanied by plenty of wine and entertainment from Miles Jupp. Strangers networked over dinner then became friends on the dance floor all in the name of performance marketing and a great night was had by all.
